In fluid dynamics, the angle of attack (alpha) is the angle between a reference line on a body (often the chord line of an airfoil) and the vector representing the relative motion between the body and the fluid through which it is moving. The angle of attack is the angle between the body's reference line and the oncoming flow. Since controlling this angle is very important in this project it subjected as propose of controlling loop.
First of all, an f-16 aircraft modeled by a vast number of article and paper which everyone is emphasize just a part of the system. This system consists of 5 states like height, angles, speed, and so on. Then, it stability point detected which is very valuable in choosing control algorithm.
Second, modern control method especially LQR method used to optimize error and actuators force/torque. As illustration, observer, and controller are simulated through Matlab software. The observer was worthwhile which use half data in order to predict situation of aircraft.
Finally, the result of simulation and optimization of control coefficient presented as a project report.
